Obituary:
Robert J. Pryce, 77 of Mayfield Apartments, Potsdam passed away on Jan. 12, 2013 at his residence under the loving care of his family and Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley. Robert was born on May 14, 1935 in Madrid the son on Alfred and Vivian (Irish) Pryce. He proudly served his country from 1952-1956 in the Air Force and was in the reserves until 1960. He married Beulah Rafter, she predeceased him on Dec. 22, 1990. Robert was employed at Canton High School for several years as a custodian, earlier in his career he worked on the St. Lawrence Seaway Project. He was a member of the American Legion Post #74. He is survived by his three children, Robert J. of Hannawa Falls, NY, Brian D. of DeKalb, NY and Anita Pryce of New Bloomfield, PA, two grandchildren, a brother Paul of Potsdam, and sisters, Sharon Pryce of Morristown, NY and Donna Tracy, of Madrid, also surviving Robert are a favorite nephew Jim Rafter, and a favorite nieces, JoAnn Hill and Peggy Pearson. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
