Donnelly, 68 of State Route 420, passed away on Dec. 26, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Medical Center, after she suffered injuries in a house fire on December 19, 2012. Shirley as she was fondly known by to her family and friends was born on November 25, 1944 in Massena the daughter of Donat and Verna (Hartwick) Plourde. She married Frank M. Donnelly on June 10, 1961 at Sacred Heart Church in Massena. Mr. Donnelly predeceased her on July 5, 1988. She is survived by her children, Tammy Reid and companion Larry Gray of Ogdensburg, Cindy Murray and companion Gregory Shields, of Massena, Pamela and husband Larry Monacelli, Penny Donnelly and companion Charles Eels of Massena 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Frank M. on Jan. 10, 2000 and her brothers, Joseph “PeeWee”, and J. Irving and a nephew Robert Plourde. Shirley enjoyed shopping and listing to Country Music, and spending time with her grandchildren, she also enjoyed spending time on her computer.
