Brown, 77 of King St, Massena died Wednesday morning at Fletcher Allen Medical Center, Burlington, Vt where she had been a patient. Family and friends are invited to call Saturday morning from 9 am until the time of services at 11:00 am at the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Christiane is survived by her loving family, a daughter Valerie Brown and a son Karl V. Brown both of Massena. She is also survived by a grandson, a granddaughter and a great grandson. Also surviving is her brother Horace Grsonkowski and a sister Hannelore Togge both of Germany. Christiane was born in Poland December 30, 1934. She married Vincent Brown December 31, 1965 in West Germany. Vincent preceded her in death on February 2, 1980. Christiane for many years was employed at the Highland Nursing Home in the Housekeeping Department. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
