Obituary:
Norfolk- Anthony "Tony" A. Perry, 73, of State Highway 420, Norfolk, passed away on June 25, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family and Hospice. Tony was born on March 25, 1939 in Massena, the son of Salvatore and Mary (Marando) Perry. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Tony was employed for thirty three and a half years at GM Powertrain working as a die cast operator. He married Debra Scheufler on August 16, 1995 in the Veterans Memorial Park in Massena. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 79, and the Italian American Club. Tony was an avid hunter, which included taking his grandchildren. He had the distinction of being appointed to retrieve lost golf balls on the grounds of the Massena Country Club. He enjoyed playing cards and was an avid bowler. Suvivors include his wife Debra, his children, Tony and wife Marie Perry of Massena; Lori and husband Richard Loffler of Massena; Susan and husband Lloyd Wood of Massena; Tiffany LaRock of Norfolk, Brandon Cole of Norfolk, 12 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, brothers: Joseph and wife Georgette, John and wife Yvette Perry and Victor and wife Olive, Robert and wife Carol all of Massena, Frank and his wife Marie of Brasher Falls, sisters: Betty Trimboli of South Bend, IN; Mary Jane Hayden and Eleanor Skonieczny both of Massena, Margaret "Mickey"and husband Jim Parisi of Fresno, CA . He was predeceased by a brother Samuel, two sisters Rosalie Perry and Annie Palmer, also surviving many nieces, nephews and great neices and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Massena with Rev. Scott Fobare presiding. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Parisville, NY. Friends and family may call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Phillips Memorial Home, Massena. The American Legion Post # 79 will pay their respects Wednesday 7:15 pm at the funeral home.
