Born on February 26, 1925 in Massena the daughter of Floyd and Valeria (Furnace) Mitchell. She graduated from Massena High School. She was employed at Alcoa as a supervisor, key punch department for thirteen years. Teresa married Stephen J. Schwartzkopf on August 5, 1944 at the Church of the Sacred Heart. Mr. Schwartzkopf predeceased her on August 31, 1999. She is survived by her son, Gregg S. Schwartzkopf and Carol of Brooklyn, NY; two granddaughters, Clea of Seattle, WA, and Meade of Denton, TX, and several in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Marion Cline, Patricia Creazzo and Thelma Patnode. Teresa served for 10 years as bookkeeper for St. Joseph's Parish where is was also a communicant. A funeral mass will be held on April 14, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Church. Friends may be received for Teresa M.
