Ernest passed away on January 21, 2010 at the Highland Nursing Home. He is survived by his children, Paul "Gib" and wife Helen Mitras of Waddington, Gary and wife Gail Boak of Clinton Township, MI, William and wife Linda Boak of Waddington, Eric and wife Gayle Boak of Winthrop, Wanda Beene of Fallbrook, CA. Stepchildren, Robert and wife Dianne Pike Jr. of Winthrop, NY, Stephen and wife Vicky Pike of Massena, Sandra Blais of Massena. Numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Joan Tyo, son Roger Boak and a step daughter, Sally Quinell. Born January 8, 1918 in Massena the son of R. Thomas and Elizabeth (Robinson) Boak. He married Edna Martin, she predeceased him in 1966, he later married Irene Pike on November 25, 1967, at St. Patrick's Church in Brasher, she predeceased him on June 16, 2007. He was employed at Alcoa, and a member of the 25 Year Club.
