I was so very sad to hear this news today. Mikey was a wonderful friend of my during high school and college. I have so many fond memories from the cabin on Wilson Hill. We always had such a wonderful time together. For the longest time I think the only thing Mikey ever said was 'No Doubt'. He was the most happy go lucky, carefree person I have ever met. I am going to miss him so very much. I was not aware he was ill until today. I moved from Massena several years ago and also tried to keep in touch whenever we went back home to Massena. My thoughts and prayers are will all of the family during this difficult time. God works in the most mysterious ways and I know he is taking great care of my dear friend.
Mrs. Pellegrino, Jay, Lynn, Jody and Andrea... I am thinking so much of all of you. I wish there was something I could say. You know I am with you in spirit and sending my love. I remember Michael as a little boy. Not sure when the above photo is from, but his face is exactly how I remember it. Much love to you all.... Karen
Our thoughts are with you.
Dear Family I graduated from high school with Mike. One of my fondest memories of him was the year we played "Tequila" in stage band and Mike dressed up as Pee Wee Herman and danced while we played. Every audience loved it & cheered him on! He had a wonderful sense of humor. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed. Sincerely Becca Jordan Hnatiw
Dear Pat and Family: Just wanted you to know that we are thinking about all of you at this very sad time. Our prayers are with you. We all have such wonderful memories of Michael's kindness and consideration any time we saw him. Michael always had a smile on his face and would stop to visit when we were sitting on the front porch on Allen Street. Please don't hesitate to call anyone of us if we can help in any way. All our love to everyone. Jerry & Margaret Witkop Jerry & Susanne Witkop Josh-Sean & Matt Mary-Beth Witkop & Kathy Bruso Kelly & Will Conlon & Kasey Kimberly Witkop & Gary Quinlan

Dear Pellegrino Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. I have many fond memories from the years I've known Mike and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In sadness, Shelly Serviss-Bailey
My thoughts and prayers are with the Pellegrino family tonite and always. Mikey was one of my best friends and I will always love him dearly. Mikey was always there for me through some of the most challenging times in my life and was always willing and able to help me through them with a smile. Always willing to give more of himself and never expect anything in return. It was his kind heart and good nature that I loved the most. He will be truely missed in my heart forever.
Pat, Jay, Lynn, Jodi and Andrea; I am so very sorry for your loss. I always remember Mikey as the kid with the kind heart and big smile. Whenever I saw Mikey he always greeted me with that big smile...even though sometimes it was evident that the smile was for me not for him. Words cannot express the sadness I feel when I think of the incredible pain you all are going through...I know how much you all looked after and worried about your little brother. Now I am sure he is looking down on all of you. You don't have to worry about him anymore as he is in a peaceful special place. You now all have a special angel who will be with you forever. My heart felt sympathy, Tracie

I don't know what to say...he was a great kid growing up in Massena. Great attitude, loved everyone, the best to be around. My heart goes out to his mother and siblings. I can't imagine the feeling of loss you have right now.
Please accept my condolences for your loss. My daughter, Kallee, is a good friend of Chelcie's and she also sends her sympathies. May you find peace in time. Wendy LaShomb
We express our deep sympath for Mike and his family. Mike and I got to know each other better in study hall when I was a freshman and he was a senior. As time went on we always made sure to say hello and chat when seeing each other around town. He will be sorely missed by us.
