I did not know Mrs Mahoney well. My knowedge comes mostly from seeing the type of people that she helped create in Aunt Mary Ellen, and in Nancy, John and Michael Slattery. From their character I know she must have been an impressive woman. I know God will keep her close to him, and time will lessen the loss you currently feel. Nancy was such a wonderful women who will be miss by all those who were lucky enough to have known her. I know I will never forget the lunches she would make for myself and my mother-in-law and the visit we would have when we were there to clean for her. Never have I met a more sweet loving person. She was blessed with a very loving family who watched out for her every need. Family was the most important thing to her and it showed. Although I have not seen her a a while I have had updates on her condition and thought of her so often. I too lost my mother Tues after a long struggle with diabetes. I share your grief and am sorry bad timing made it impossible to be there for you. Rest assured that your mother and grandmother knew she was loved by each and everyone of you.
