Perp has been on my mind constantly since I learned over the weekend that he was about to leave us. I have many fond memories of him, Norma and family going back so many years. While I am sad about his passing and feel sorry for the pain Debbie, Diane, Danny and Denise and their families are feeling, I must say that I am grateful to have known him as my uncle and how much he meant to so many, including me. I will always remember how funny he was and how it was so much fun to be in his company. Perp was a hell of a guy. Always the prankster, the storyteller, the big smile, and the big heart to warm us all. I'll never forget the night Jonathan was having a party at his house and all the guys were playing basketball outside. Perp showed up out of the blue, grabs the ball, and shoots this long distance sky hook that swishes through the net. He hen gives this look like, "that's how its supposed to be done". It was classic. And everyone at the party was like "Who the hell was that guy?". I couldn't stop laughing. Good times. I'll miss you, Perp. You left an indelible mark on everyone whose life you touched. God bless.
