God bless Uncle "Perp," and may the Good Lord welcome home to eternity with all of our family members who left us before him. Perp has been on my mind constantly since I learned over the weekend that he was about to leave us. I have many fond memories of him, Norma and family going back so many years. While I am sad about his passing and feel sorry for the pain Debbie, Diane, Danny and Denise and their families are feeling, I must say that I am grateful to have known him as my uncle and how much he meant to so many, including me. I will always remember how funny he was and how it was so much fun to be in his company. Mike Deshaies

Hey Guys, So sorry about Uncle Perp and sorry we couldn't make it home for the services. Heaven just got a little bit more fun. Perp always made me smile and almost always made me laugh. The angels have been joined by one fun loving, Santa suit wearing, spoon playing, alouette singing barrel of laughs. I treasure the memories of overnights at camp. Uncle Perp was always good for one more boat ride. God Bless.

To all, We were so saddened to hear of Perp's passing. He really had such a zest for life, and it was always so fun to be around him. My favorite memories are of him playing Santa at school (student: "how do you get to the North Pole?"; Perp: "Oh, well, you go to the light in Winthrop and turn left...."). I know you all will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. With love, Ginette, Dan, Amber and Taylor Evans

My heartfelt condolences to Jonathan, Aleesha, David, Debbie, Vernaa, and all of the Deshaies and Zysick family. Perp was a hell of a guy. Always the prankster, the storyteller, the big smile, and the big heart to warm us all. I'll never forget the night Jonathan was having a party at his house and all the guys were playing basketball outside. Perp showed up out of the blue, grabs the ball, and shoots this long distance sky hook that swishes through the net. He hen gives this look like, "that's how its supposed to be done". It was classic. And everyone at the party was like "Who the hell was that guy?". I couldn't stop laughing. Good times. I'll miss you, Perp. You left an indelible mark on everyone whose life you touched. God bless.

Deshaies boys, The world has a big void to fill with the passing of Perp. He was a great pal/neighbor of mine and its hard to believe that he is gone. We spent many hours exploring the Grass River and surrounding areas. Truly an icon of Massena. Our condolences to the whole family. We think of you often. Red and Elaine

Deshaies siblings: We are sorry to learn of your loss. We know you are surrounded by the love of family and friends, and they all share in your loss. I played lots of games of baseball on Tamarack St. with Perp and the neighborhood kids, but it seems like I was always in the field chasing the balls that the older guys would hit. Know that you are in our thoughts.
