CommentMy deepest heart felt condolences go out to the family of Shirley Neal. Shirley was a very rare woman with the most beautiful giving heart. In my earlier years she was like a second mother to me. Shirley absolutely loved and doted on her family. She had the greatest sense of humor. I always used to love to hug Shirley because she always smelled so good. I always loved to go to her home because you were aways made to feel loved and welcome. The Neal's in general are the most hospitable family who love life. My prayers go out to the family in their great loss. We have lost a great lady here on Earth, but heaven has gained her precious soul. We always have the hope to see her again one day and this is what we have to remember during this time. Death is not the end, but the beginning of eternity. We need to make the right decisions here on Earth to determine our eternity. I am certain Shirley believed in Jesus and is with him today and any pain has been removed. My love goes out to this wonderful family who I have the privilege of knowing.

CommentSo many memories of my growing up involve Shirley and Art, Danny, Randy and Kevin. You were Kevin's mom to me but you always treated me like family. Shirley had the gift of making whomever she was with feel special. I will miss Shirley so much and miss visiting with her when I go home to Massena. I'll still be stopping by to see you Art (and hopefully Randy too) and together we can remember Shirley and Kevin and share all of our wonderful memories. Till I see you next know that you are all in my heart, thoughts and prayers.
Love

CommentOn behalf of the 'Friends Forever' rascals, I send my heart-felt support, prayers and love to the Neal Family at this difficult time. Since Kevin began friendships with us, so long ago, Shirley and Art have been the BEST, spirited, most gracious hosts always. They are the 'cool' parents to all of us, and Shirley was the sweetest and loveliest of anyone; always quick to ask about your family and your latest persuits and fancies. That's because she honestly cared. She was one class act. I'm guessing she and Kevin will be making some noise in the clouds together now. We'll miss you very much, Shirley! Thanks for being so swell! Love from, Doug, Betsy, Jane, David, Nancy, Diane, and Dan.

CommentAs wonderful as heaven is, it just got even better when the gates were opened for Shirley Neal. She was a beautiful person in every way. An amazing wife and life partner with Art for over 57 years, the best mom to Danny, Randy and Kevin and the most loving grandmother to Ashley and Michael.
The Friends Forever gang grew up with Shirley and she was like our second mom. You knew you were always welcome at the Neals' at anytime and almost instantly a feast would appear along with drinks and stories and jokes that would make you laugh until you cried. Shirley was always interested in everyone's lives and was the most genuinely unselfish person you could ever meet.
If we're lucky enough to follow Shirley through those Pearly Gates, I know she'll have a feast ready for us and we'll all recognize her because she'll be the same angel in heaven that she was here on earth.

CommentDear Art, Dan and Randy,
I am so sorry for your loss. Shirley was a wonderful person that always had a smile on her face and a giving heart. I have many childhood memories of our families getting together on a Sunday afternoon for a barbeque. I remember the fun and laughs we had watching our parents play badmiiton and then organizing a wiffel ball game for all to enjoy.
I know there is nothing anyone can say at this time to heal your broken heart, but these memories I have of Shirley and the whole family on those warm Sunday afternoons warm my heart and I hope they will warm your heart too.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Mike and Dawn

CommentTo the family of Shirley Neal,
We truly have seen the graciousness of a lovely women with an incredible warmheart and beautiful smile. It is with great sadness and sorrow to stand with the Neal family and listen to the endless stories and special occasions Shirley was involved in. Her loving family and dear friends have been greatly blessed to share in the precious life which Shirley surely enjoyed.
Now in the same spirit that she showed us ...we too carry on in the same spirit she has for so many years.
Deepest Sympathy and Special Prayers to you all.
Michael & Pat Rayome
