To My Family...I am extremely sad to hear about Ricky's passing. He was alway fun to be around and just a very kind person. I will miss him at our family events. I have to tell myself that his laughter and smile were needed elsewhere. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

To the family and friends of Ricky, We met Ricky years ago through Herb Brown. And Ricky shared many a cup of coffee and a joke at our kitchen table. And every now and then on his Saturday Homestead run to Watertown he'd pull up and drop off a crate or two of milk and dairy products. Although we haven't seen Ricky in years we will always remember him as our friend. We are truly sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace Ricky. Allen & Bridget Gordinier

Ricky! Forever in my heart remain the memories of BBQ's at your house, and sitting around my dad's (Herb Brown) kitchen table singing the Doobie Brothers. Always in good spirits, heaven has a brand new angel! Look over my dad okay? He's having a real hard time dealing with your passing. Watch for him on his roof top, or where ever he choses to find comfort, and listen real close, because he'll be talking to you. To the rest of the family, my heart feels your pain. Ricky is in a safe place now and feels no pain. Be happy for him and celebrate the life he enjoyed so fully! With all my love, Rest in Peace Ricky Brown!!! Love, Heidi

I just want to let Ricky's family know that I have alot of fun memories about Ricky. We were just good friends that managed to always make each other smile. He was so kind and he was a gentle man too. I'll say prayers for him. Very sincerely. Meg Munro previously from Massena.

I want to thank everyone for there condolences for the loss of our father for Chris and I. As for my dad i want to say to all of you that he was a button-pusher the more buttons he pushed the more he cared about you. From what i saw there where two kinds of people he saw..the ones he made laugh and the ones he did'nt. If he made you laugh you are one of the lucky few who got to know him for the great person he was. From: Herbie,Soph, Bicky , Beaner,Brother,Father, Son, Daughter, Bitchface, Hun, Babers,Friend and the Animal Crew you will be missed.... I know he is gone to a better place and wants to look at us not grieving the loss of him but remembering the good times and the laughs we have all shared together. I love you Dad your son Ricky

Boy oh boy...where to even begin..I called him Pa because he was always one to me. After my parents passed away, he took me under his wing and treated me as his other kid..and did he EVER! He picked so much I should be nothing but bones...the more I disliked it, the more he would pick. Admittingly, I loved it! We definately had a special bond.. I will miss him so much that words couldn't describe! It's alright Pa-- I love you and i'll see you on the other side...remember "Fat bottomed girls you make the rockin world go 'round! " Love always, your other kid-Robin Haywood*
