CommentI did not know you Kevin, but I have known your sister Roberta for many years, and in reading your obituary reading your love of family, music and the artistic work putting cars together once again made me feel as if I knew a little of you. Why? I know Roberta and her love of family, music, art in its many various forms.
I too lost a brother of a massive heart attack. He at the age of 36. You and your family will be in my prayers in these days and weeks to come. May all of the happy memories bring them much comfort to each of them. My you rest in peace in the Loving Arms of our God.
Sincerely,
Sr. Rosanne McDonald, S.A.

CommentDear Bobby and the Whole Southwick Family,
Just want you all to know that you have our Sympathy and Love.
Loosing a member of the family is painful. We have a special bond with each other which goes deeper than that of friends - even though we sometimes disagree with each other. The real love is at a deeper level of our emotions.
Kevin was a wonderful, hard working, good man. May he rest in peace.
Sisters June and I will be having a Mass offered for the repose of his soul.
Love,
Sister Elizabeth and June

CommentI knew Kevin when I worked for the Paint Crew at SLU for the summer of 2004. I always got a kick out of him; He had a unique sense of humor. I, every now and then wondered how he was doing. I give my deepest sympathies to his family.

CommentDear Carey and Tracy,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I remember seeing him a number of times in the SLU Education Dept. office or in the seminar room when he was refinishing the furniture. He did such beautiful work, I could only marvel at his skills and excellence. I also remember how proud he was of both of you. It was quite evident when he spoke of you two when I'd ask for an update if I hadn't seen one of you recently. Your Dad was so approachable and down-to-earth. I really enjoyed talking with him whenever we had the chance. I am thinking of you, your families and your Mother and wishing for all of you the warmth and support of your communities as you adjust to the loss of your father. With deepest sympathy, Esther Oey

CommentMy family first met the Southwick family in 1958 when my sister, Carmen, went to Watertown Business School with Kevin's sister, Sally. It was always a joyous time to visit with the Southwick family. They were all musically talented.
Monnie was the last person my family had contact with and we had loss contact with her.
What a sad loss to lose a brother. Our family lost my brother, Leonard, on 8/27/2007. To lose a brother is even sadder than losing a parent. I knew Kevin years ago and he was always a kind and giving person. My condolences go out to Kevin's wife and children and spouses, grandchildren, siblings and spouses, nieces and nephews. I'm sure your family fill feel his loss for years to come. Kevin is now one of your angels.
