We are all mortal and for each of us, our time will come. It is just so difficult to accept when it comes too early. Darcie leaves all of us with wonderful memories of a sweet and kind spirit who always had a good word for anyone, always was ready to help, always was interested and courteous, and who absolutely adored her wonderful children - who are her legacy. We will think of her often, and she will be very greatly missed by all who had the good fortune and the privilege of knowing her.

There are no words to express my sadness especially for my cousin Steve Ashley and his three beautiful girls who have lost such a loving, wonderful wife and mom. I'm glad that I got one last visit with Darcie in September. I wish there was something I could do to take the pain away from all who loved Darcie. Know that my heart is with you all. My two boy's Jordan, and Brandon Brothers were students of Darcie when she taught "Tiny Totes" in Madrid. That is when I first met Darcie, I am honored that I got to know her she was a wonderful woman, kind, gentle, very warm and freindly person, always willing to go the extra mile for her students. I always saw her at the sport eevnts with her daughters'. Darcie was a gem and she will be missed. I am so very sorry for her family's loss, I am glad that all of her daughters' will have wonderful memories of they're Mother, not just the painful ones. I would like to know if I send a donation to the funeral home or to their home? May your family feel heal with the memories of their loved one, most especially during the holiday's. GOD BLESS YOU ALL SINCERLY, Laurel Brothers
