I didn't know her very well but I can never forget her kindness to the children that I work with. She was often giving them pointers on how to get more tickets from the video games and then sharing her tickets with them. She was a bit older than me in high school and while I always remembered her, years later when I'm certain she forgot my name, she always had a big smile and hello for me when we crossed paths. I have been looking for her whenever I pass the video games in the mall. Tonight I could not sleep and I was scrolling the obituaries and sadden to find her here. She was a lovely person and I will continue crossing paths with her everytime I see kindness in strangers. The world needs more Cathys.
